Film and video professor to screen short films

Marie Ullrich, a film and video professor, has two short films which will be screened this weekend at Celebration! Cinema South. Her short films “Faster!”  and “Disappearing France” are part of the Mosaic Film Experience (MFE) where national and international filmmakers focus on the rich mosaic of our cultures. Starting today, the MFE will present over 100 hours of winning film from international, national and student entries. 

“Faster!”
12 minutes, narrative, HD
Synopsis: Jasper is a bad-ass Chicago bike messenger who runs roughshod over everyone in her path in a desperate struggle to get ahead.

“Disappearing France”
5 minutes, experimental documentary, HD
Synopsis: The elderly women of Nice, France, appear to exist only intermittently.

Professor Ullrich’s films are scheduled to be screened on Sunday, October 14 at 6 pm. Her films will be shown in Theater 2 at:
