Advertising and Public Relations students working on the student-run PR firm GrandPR won a ‘PRoof’ Award from the West Michigan Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (WMPRSA).

The PRoof Awards recognize local PR professionals for their work on campaigns as well as individual tactical excellence. Work is judged by professionals from another PRSA chapter. There is no student category, so the students were honored along with area professionals.

The students won for a campaign they conducted for Awesome Mitten, an online news site about Michigan.

GrandPR is a PR firm run entirely by students who are members of GVSU PRSSA, the GVSU chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
