“The Domestic Crusaders” by Wajahat Ali at GVSU

Wajahat Ali visits Michigan for MSU Theatre Department’s staged reading of his play The Domestic Crusaders. The play focuses on tensions within a modern Muslim Pakistani-American family against the background of 9/11 and the scapegoating of Muslim Americans.

Wajahat Ali, is a Muslim American of Pakistani descent. He is a playwright, essayist, humorist, and Attorney at Law.

The staged reading will take place on February 10, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Cook-DeWitt Center.
